Connecting with your Spirit Guide. A Guided Meditation.

This is a meditation I did years and years ago to help clarify and solidify my guide connection.

Before you get started, and in order for this to work, you MUST be in a quiet place with NO distractions. Turn off the cell phone, the email, etc. Be in a quiet, comfortable place. If you think you might need a blanket, get that before even beginning.

If you feel you might distract easily, I would also suggest a sleeping eye mask, or if you are lying down, even a very light blanket or towel to go over your eyes, to resist opening your eyes or fidgeting while going through the meditation.



If you are going to use the recorded guided meditation that I have, on the left side of my blog, It may also be helpful if you have speaker phone capabilities on your phone, or an earphone or ear bud for your phone, so you are hands-free.

If you follow the instructions, you will be able to call this meditation to mind quickly and easily, to use over again to connect with your Spirit Guide and get the guidance and advice you desire from your OWN source.

Meditation - you want to read this in a calm slow voice to yourself. I use a hypnotic tone in my recording to help you go deeper.


You are relaxed, in a quite place, with no distractions. Breathe Deeply, and close your eyes. The only thing you'll concentrate on is my voice. My voice in your ears and around your whole self. Breathe slowly.
Be aware of your toes and fingertips. Now, tense them up as hard as you can, continuing to breathe slowly as you tense the muscles. Keep the rest of your body relaxed. Tense up your fingers and toes. And, relax.. Now, your feet and legs, and hands and arms - be aware of them and now tense them. Feel your muscles tense. And then relax your muscles, and breathe.

Feel your feet and legs, Be aware of your hands and arms. Be aware of your hips and stomach. Tense your muscles all the way up. Feelt, legs, hips, stomach, tense them... and relax. Breathe. Feel the muscles relax, sink into your chair or bed.
Be aware of your entire body - tense your muscles - your toes, your knees, your legs, your hips and bottom - keep breathing - your stomach, your chest, your shoulders, muscles tightened, your fingers and arms, all tense and tight while you breathe - your neck and now your face - every muscle tense while you breathe - then RELAX.

Feel every muscle melt. Every muscle relax. Your face is is completely relaxed, and your body feels heavy, sinking into the furniture. You are feeling deep in yoru own skin and mind, and completely relaxed.



In your mind, see your bare feet. There they are, in the grass. See yourtoes, feel the soft green grass, pokey, between your toes. It's been cut recently, and you can smell the cut grass.
See your feet take 3 steps in the grass, until you come to a small concrete stepping stone. When you put your foot on it, the stone feels cool on your skin. Both of your feet fit ont he stepping stone. See the grass around the stepping stone. Smell the fresh, cool morning air.
A step away is another stone.You hop over to it. Feel your body, light and joyous, skipping to the next stone. And then to the next. Your arms help you keep balance. You look up from your feet, to see you are in a beautifully manicured garden.
There are colourful flowers in bloom. There are white flowers, big and poufy, and delicate pinks and reds. There are lilies of orange and purple.Smell them in the air.

You see a white wooden gazebo. It is shady inside and looks cool. You walk through the garden towards it. As you approach, you see a figure seated in the gazebo. They are in the shadow.
Walk towards the gazebo. You can feel in your heart that this figure is a trusted friend, who you've known for a long time. You feel quietly happy to see them. You arrive at the gazebo. Put your hand on the wood of the structure. Using your other hand, You wave to the figure on the seat. They wave back.
It is your spirit guide.

Your eyes adjust to the light inside. You can see the sahep of their face, and see them smile at you. There seems to be a glow that comes from them, when in the shaded gazebo. See their features become apparent. See the colour of your guide's eyes. - and now, they're hair. See how it is styled. You are happy to see the familiar face and will never forget this moment. You see your guides clothing. Each colour and fold in what they are wearing.

Step inside the Gazebo. Sit and face your guide. You have your hands on the seat and feet firmly on the ground.


You say to your guide "I'M SO GLAD TO SEE YOU."

"THANK YOU FOR MEETING ME TODAY."

Say to your guide: "I want to connect with you easily and as I need guidance."

Say to your guide: "My friend, what is your name?"


It is time for you to leave the garden. You can come back here any time you want to connect with your guide, in other places outside the garden, because your guide is always with you. In the beginning, the garden will be the easiest place to connect.

You wave goodbye to your guide, feeling the mutual joy you have both experienced in connecting.
Step down the stairs, over the grass. See your feet in the cut grass, walking through the garden, until you come to the concrete stepping stones. Put your feet on the first one, and feel yourself skip to one, and another, feel your arms swinging, your heart singing, skpip to the next, and the next...

Feel yourself breathing, in and out.

Feel your fingers, and wiggle your physical fingers. Feel your toes, and wiggle your physical toes.
Take a deep, depe breathe. You are relaxed, and feel joy. You remember every detail of your experience. feel happiness and satisfaction.

Today you will feel refreshed and blessed. Breathe deep. Now Open your eyes.
