Girls Holiday Weekend Readings

The Girls Holiday Weekend in Midland, Friday night event was a success... but so tiring! I booked a small break for myself at around 8:30, and then read straight through till about 11. Because I KNOW that once I get a little tired, if I stop, I'm doomed.

I ended up doing 17 readings. And, I've been invited to the brunch on Sunday, where I'm guessing I'll be set up to do more readings. And hopefully eat some brunch. hahaha! The weather wasn't great on Friday night, so I'm hoping more ladies will be coming to the brunch and I'll get to connect with anyone I may have missed on Friday.

I think it would be a great time to do the draw for the free 30 minute reading, too.

My throat is raw from the hours of non stop talking. And Cackling.

Totally worth it :)

Girls Holiday Weekend Midland Ontario.

So, I'll be sitting in the Boathouse in Midland, doing readings for the Girls Holiday Weekend event. I did this one last year, and it was STUPID busy. I did 10 minute readings, and read NON STOP from 6 to 11. I was BURNT OUT by the end of the night in a big way, read for 22 ladies, and had 11 more on the list. Needless to say, I just COULDN'T do it.

This year my plan is to be a bit more organized. Take names of people who would like to have parties at a later date, or personal readings. (Hopefully this "organization" thing works for me. ha!)

I'm going to have to rest up SOMEHOW between now and then! It's a wild time, with music and rowdy ladies. :)

Lori-Grace is a Super Hero.

First, check out this work that a friend drew of me. Yes. I walk around thinking I look like Super Lori-Grace ALL the time now.

Mark Tumber ( www.MarkTumber.com ) lives nearby, and we've been friends a long time. I asked him to make me look like a super hero, complete with muscles. He took my facebook profile pic and made this happen!!!

I've been doing readings at Inspirations downtown, although I won't be there this coming Saturday. Fridays are a possibility for those who can't come in on Saturday, and as always I'm available on Sundays for parties in the area.

I just got back from doing a party. There were all kinds of things I wanted to write... but I'm very very sleepy.

What's important to know in the coming days? The next week...

The first thing that hit me was "Cern will come again."
then, the Princess of Swords who said to me "Learn to use your new skills. You will hone them to perfection, as one would when working with swords. A little awkward at first, this new dance... you will grow strong and confident."

Then I had to come back and have a look at the rest. The Queen of Swords is representing me - a woman who is rational and fair, strong and decisive. Takes no bull. What my roadblock is to being this wholly is The Hanged Man - Waiting for someone else to make a move, trying to get a different perspective, waiting for timing to be right. This tells me the timing is absolutely right, right now. There will be no waiting. I must shed this notion of wondering.

In what I am right now, the King of Wands. All fire, all intuition, with a good hold on all that means.
In my environment, 2 cards slipped out together, and so I left them that way. First, is THE HIGH PRIEST. Well.. yes. Clearly. Coupled with the 5 of coins - A financial change associated with a lover. Also, sadness and loss associated with a lover. (sigh)

The next, 7 of Pentacles, is 'what is in the thoughts." - That we shall surely reap what we are sowing.

The last card made me happy. THE HIGH PRIESTESS as the outcome of all of it. A strength, secrets revealed and truths understood. 

What is important to know? Let there be no doubt that everything is falling into place as it should. Let there be no question. There is great strength already, even in the learning of separate and connected things. Make peace with your own armor and new tools. Horns and Hooves are present and watchful. Strength and self discovery.

So. Life has been busy. Busy growing and changing and healing. There's been a crazy tonne of magic swirling around me and making things happen FAST. The messages from my Guides (and Others!!) have been loud and clear. I've been doing readings in person at a little shop downtown, and have done a party or two. Mostly, I've been distracted in the most beautiful and important way. However, sometime after the first week of August, .... I believe I'll be back in full force. And completely FOCUSED. That's what so much of this month has been about for me. Focus. It's all part of it.

I've already started to play catch up with email readings, and putting my energies out there to welcome those of you who have been waiting patiently for me.

So, the photo is by my adorable friend Barb, who owns a gorgeous shop in town and also has a business called BOOKBAGZ. (That's a link to her website, but she's also got a facebook page.) I was actually SINGING outside of her shop yesterday, and she brought out one of her bookbagz creations! She's got an official license to use some Nancy Drew Book images on her purses. They are adorable, and cute, and durable.. and handmade by Barb.

Everytime I look at this picture, I think "This is EXACTLY how I've been feeling this month, and I am so thankful." Cute. Sassy. Dainty. And Wondering about The Secret of the Old Clock.

Time hasn't been linear for me. I'm lost in it, and completely okay with that. After the first week of August, it will most likely be easier to keep time.
